Summer has come again, another one without you. When the sun shines, I sit in the garden, looking at your memorial stone, just wishing that you were still here with me. You died at the height of summer. On your last day, I watched the sun rise over the hospital buildings, bathing them in a rosy glow. I didn't know that by the time the sun set, you would be gone forever.
In memory of Helen, this Mother's Day.
Alan Hudson Day Treatment Center, staff were so kind to you.
